Our People

The Staton Forestry team takes pride in their work and is committed to getting your project done successfully and safely, and every employee is OSHA 10 certified and CPR trained.

Jason Kunkle

Owner / Operator — 503.302.7732

With 30 years of experience in heavy civil construction, Jason Kunkle has spent 25 of them as an operator, superintendent, and foreman. He has managed projects with budgets from $500,000 to $20,000,000. His duties have included managing crews ranging in size from 3 to 20 members, working closely with city, county, and ODOT inspectors, and managing tight time schedules to ensure in-water work windows were met on time and completed.

Tyler Kunkle

Project Manager / Estimator — 503.562.9401

At 18, Tyler Kunkle joined the Marine Corps reserve where he was appointed fire team leader and squad leader overseeing logistics and shipping of all gear and troops in the unit. In 2013, he was sent overseas where his responsibilities included shipping 50 million pounds of military gear back to the states. After six years of experience in heavy civil construction, as a laborer and carpenter with most of his time spent on bridges, Tyler moved on to Staton Forestry (previously All Terrain Land Maintenance) where he is currently responsible for estimating, billing, operating, and advertising.
